  CDR 2.5 - New Features
AUTO-ACQUIRE MODE (AutoTake):
Enables you to take X-rays automatically.
Click on X-ray/Image menu, and then on Auto-Acquire Mode.
(Requires CDR 2000 (USB) System)

AUTOMATED MICROSOFT WORD REPORTS:

Copies images and patient information into Word reports automatically.
Click on Print menu, and then on Reports. Select the report style (either Endo, Perio, or Letters), and then click on Automated Reports.
TAB FORMAT FOR PATIENT EXAMS:
Enables you to quickly access and review all the exams for a patient.
Active by default. To hide tabs, click on Window menu, Hide Elements, and then on Hide Exam Tabs.

SUPPORT FOR TWAIN IMAGES:

Imports images acquired by TWAIN devices (scanners and digital cameras).
Click on System menu, and then on Select TWAIN Source.
Click on Xray/Image menu, Acquisition Mode, and then on Scanner.
(Requires TWAIN-compatible scanner or digital camera)
MINI-EXAM WINDOW:
Enables you to view exam images and acquire new images from CDR's zoom window.
Click on Window menu, and then on Display Exam.
EMBOSS:
Applies a relief filter to enhance X-ray images.
Click on Enhance menu, and then on Emboss.
SEARCH BY EXAM COMMENTS:
Adds a new search field to the Patient Exam dialog box.
Click on File menu, and then on Open. The Comments search field is located at the lower right.
